i was testing the ride super softs on the rear and liked the traction they provided on carpet, they would hop a bit on fast corners but very controllable and manageable, still testing to find a good front tire to give the car optimal balance. One thing i noticed about the ride tires is they dont seem to pick up carpet debris, and therefore stay pretty consistent over long runs.

i wouldnt run the super softs up front. stick with the super softs for the rear and start with a medium compound tire for the front and decide if you want more oversteer or push, more push(understeer) = harder front tire. Running to soft a tire up front will result in traction roll/a lot of oversteer resulting in spinning out. IMO.

i dont know if anyone may have tried this, but i will ask anyway.
other than the vintage f1 bodies (Wolf, Lotus) of tamiya, has anyone tried to use the vintage bodies from ZEN, TRG, and D-Drive Sports on their F-104?
if so, which bodies fit? and did you have to make major modifications to it?
thanks in advance.

It's not availble yet...but it's coming soon according to the Tamiya America website.
I'm all in on this one. It looks way easier to cut out than the F60 is. I'm down for 2.
