Just a note of interest, I am VERY EXCITED to announce that Alpha RC F1 has signed on to sponsor the F1 exhibition class at the Champs this year!!!

Any commercially available F1 Chassis: Alpha, CRC, Tamiya, 3Racing, Cross, Kyosho, HPI, TRG, etc. is eligible. It will be a 210mm max width, foam tire, 2-cell Lipo, Handout silver can class. Looking at the F1 threads here on RCTech, it should be KILLER!!! Can't wait!!

Sure thing!
The car actually looks factory (with the radio tray mods et al). The only difference is the cut outs for the battery terminals. See below:

How'd you sign Wolverine as a driver?

I had to settle for Gene Simmons but he brought a little bit of cash to the table!

thanks, yeh, I got lucky when I found it.

I didn't plan that shot, the car sits next to the RC workbench and it worked as a backdrop.

It's supposed to be the other way around, so it's 8x12.

Nah, no Kiss paint, just the standard 'cuda plum crazy purple.

Peer pressure has me goin more of a standard F1 livery and helmet lately.

Ferrari red on the F104 was easy but common. Got me thinkin I miss my celebrity driver.
Who's next?

Well the deed is done...

Just clicked the buy button for f104 pro and some accessories.

Decals from Ddrive, a titanium screw set and aluminum motor mount from rcmart

I plan to do a Renault 25

Still dialing in my ta05 IFS but I just had to get the f104.
