hey guys with the servo for the steering do we really have to dremel the mounting points? such a waste to do such a thing!

is there a servo on the market that can compensate the position it has to be in?

cheers - my kit shoud be here this week!

anyone using brushless on the 104's if so do you think a 3.5r o4 4.5r type brushless would work ok on this car ... given a large track...

also does anyone run rubber tires on this kit?

thanks!

For clearance yes but replacement cases are cheap anyhow if you ever remove the servo for another application.

another vid of testing from Mr. Hashimoto of ZEN.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_bv5aVrSas

bone stock, but tested with some prototype tires due for release. The stock front tires don't have enough grip, and creates an under-over effect. Thought to be more unstable from the narrow width, but handles pretty good now with the new tires. Car looks much more stable now.

Is this the F103 tires on F104 wheels? Or, do the TRG wheels for the F103 fit the F104 without any modification?

If anything it looks like a high speed push now. Turns in good at low speed, but the video makes it look like he's waiting on it when he's moving fast.

Questions??

Excuse me, i am totally new from F1.

Could anybody tell me, if this chassis fits the aftermarket(TRG, ZEN, ABC, Tech racing) body sets(main body, front, rear wing and diffuser)?

Best regards

Yep...looks like push push push...then just as it's slows enough it turns in hard.

The diffuser from the F104 will not work with the F103. It's keyed on the left and right side so the motor pod fits into it, then the pod gets screwed down. Plus the diffuser is also keyed for the new style T-plate, which is way different than the F103 type. The front and rear wings have the same bolt pattern as the F103 so it looks like they're pretty universal. As for the body sets...I have not idea...I guess they would fit, but the F104 is a little longer then the F103.

I hope this helps.
