jasons09........I'm one of those who is surprised at how durable this car is. I was concerned that I would break it easily due to my past record with other cars.
I've started racing with my local club and have "kissed' many parts of the track, plus taken some optional excursions off the beaten path a few times, and even had another car go over the top of mine when my silver bullet was lost by the faster car coming into the corner.......and guess what, nothing has broken or bent.

Excellent thanks guys, Just want I wanted to hear. My LHS just got a shipment in to.

They have in stock:
F103RM
F103 15th Anniversary
F104 Pro

I'm leaning towards the F104 as it is the obvious choice. Comments on the other kits?

Ya, I think the 103 RM kit looks cool, for it's high nose.

If you want a car that will be no hassles fast straight out of the box, get the 103 15th. The 103 will destroy the 104 on the track. 104 has the more scale looks, and may be the F1 of choice next year for TCS. If it was me, id get the 103 15th, because of the on track performance advantage.

I'll admit, I've been runnin my Pro, and I'm pleased. But I plan to un-leash some hell with the 103 next time out, point blank.

the 15th anny on carpet FTW.

my 15th is now just a fancy 103rm for asphault though, the fiber decks and short top plate on the 103rm make the car alot more forgiving than the 15th anny stock set-up IMO.

seen some stupid fast 104s w/ minimal mods. if I had the cash I would buy the 104pro and 15th anny just to have collected these releases and use the 103rm as my racer.

with what motor do you compare? brushless or brushed? and limited to what 27t stock or even less??

I've run my custom build F1 which is inspired by the f103 with X12 6.5t with 7,4 lipo and it was outta control, insainly quick but still controlable

Our local tracks only run silvercans (albeit the "red dot" versions, which are much quicker). Even with the slow speeds, the 103 has a clear handling advantage.

I'm running a Kyosho G20 motor from an RTR cars, had it sitting around.
Also run a cheap basic waterproof ESC.

Spun the car on sunday in to a 3" puddle to the side of the track, and the cars survived well the track was a little wet with standing water, and I had on Cross Rubbers.
Proof that a bit of cling film around a spectrum RX works.
