Why is my TL-01LA being a douche?

Why is my TL-01LA being a douche?
My steering geometry is way off on my TL-01LA. I've converted it with the arms and uprights and all but the standard TL-01 adjustable steering arms are producing retarded toe-in. What am I missing? Specialised arms? Or wah? Camber is right, caster is as standard. just not happenin.

Mate, don't sweat it too much. TL01 is the only chassis I ever had that I threw in the bin after only a few weeks. It just is like that.
That being said, front toe-in should be easily adjustable if you have turbuckles on the tie rods. The kit without any hopups should give zero toe in. Make sure you put it together correctly. If you use aftermarket parts to "upgrade" it, remember that most after market companies are hit and miss type affairs. I have had a number of experiences like that and sometimes even Tamiya's own upgrades require further tuning to work as intended.
Good luck.

I have about 5 TL-01s now, this is the first TL-01 i've converted to LA using bits and bobs i've found in my parts boxes.
Throwing them out is sacrelige. They're quite useful. especially for drift, rally, and grindhouses. And, they're cheap!
I only use Tamiya parts. And adjustable steering (which you missed) is shortened as far as it goes. still toe in.
LA steering is obviously a bit different then... le bugger.
