Seriously this crap has been going on for over a year now. Who the F@#$ cares? They are so similar that we can interchangeably swap softwares and LCD programmers.. IS this right or wrong? Who cares..

hard to find info weeding through the fighting
right Joel,
i think what solara want's is "Speed Passion vs Hobbywing"

i don't,

i think Speed Passion is Speed Passion
and Hobbywing is Hobbywing.

behind it's a fact that Speed Passion has connection with Hobbywing.

here i don't want to talk about Hobbywing, because it's a Speed Passion
Thread, but talk about Speed Passion will never Fade from Hobbywing.

Thank you. Your response let's me know you read my post, and yet you still don't respond with any sort of actual track or race info which proves my other point. Only a troll not a racer.

Do we have any top stock carpet racer in USA...? We just don't have the funding for this class in USA. On MOD, we have JOSH, Fred Hubbard, JP Richards, Tylor Vik & others....

I just purchased a Speed Passion GT2.1 Pro Stock Brushless ESC. I will be running 2wd buggy with no boost.
  • What software should I be running?
  • Will it have the blinking red light to indicate I am using a no boost profile?

I have asked him for the name of the track he races at, for a print of of his lap times, a video of him racing, he won't post any of it. so yea I do believe as someone once wrote in a email, he is not a real person, but only a Troll.
ROFL You guys never cease to amaze me
This one time at bandcamp the latest SP Software rewrote the SP program card to read Hobbywing.

Fact is Hobbywing make a great ESC and SP market it and support it very well to make themselves one of the most successful brands in Racing. Lets be honest here if there were no Hobbywing then there would be no SP, but if there were no Speed Passion there would be very little interest in the other reasonably priced Model. I am sure there is some sort of synergy here bit like SP's Ying to HW's Yang. I always like to read this thread, the SP people are some of the most helpful, albeit sometime annoying, people on this forum, their knowlege and understanding of their product is second to none and it does not help when certain (slightly annoying) individuals rock the boat which we are all riding in. I am certain that the SP boys and girls would go way out of their way to help someone with a legitimate question, even if they had in fact picked the other camp.

So Irgo, I will reiterate what I said on the HW thread that maybe it's time to cut down on the posts about RPM logs and maybe just PM either Solara or Angelo (depending on campsite) once a month for an update on your requirements thus uncluttering the threads with repetitions of the same questions, which invariably garner the same answers each time.

Everybody knows where I built my campfire, but being as I am an SP owner too (Backup/testing) I am happy to share my slightly charred burgers with members from both camps.

Oh and BTW we are condsidering a one on one in the UK so if any of the SP boys are visting Blighty over the next year would be great to pit one camper from each side in a 2 car race. Would be entertaining for sure and would rekindle the sense of friendship and camaraderie which has always existed between the two camps.

We have been testing the 1/8th already...we just hope the 1/8th electric is bigger.

However, our 1/10th off road has a very good team right now...even in the US.

Off road is what SP focusing since 2010....

let me rephase that, the last couple of years I have spent a lot of money traveling to the IIC, on road nats, and the Reedy race, trying my hardest to represent and perform well using SP products, Now your telling me, thats not really where SP has thier focus. after last yeas Paved nats I made a post reguarding the lack of sp support at major races, Now i understand why, I was debating my decision on leaving SP for a chance to try any and all of the new product out there, (i have been with SP since the begining and have a little meaningless masters national title using SP) I now feel comfortable with that decision. btw, you might want to add Charlie B to that list has he as done more for SP then any other driver out there. I will still help out the local guys that have bought SP products.

anyone want to buy some sp motors pm me, I have 21.5, 17.5, 10.5, 9.5 and a 6.5, $150 for all of them plus shipping. US only.
