I just want to make sure I don't forget to do something if I try this whole 1S lipo thing and screw up my lipo or ESC. So if anyone has an overview for a noob when it comes to 1/12 1S lipo feel free to post. something that really breaks it down (ie- get this, and this, hook this up this way, set this, etc.)
Max that out too!

As for the setup and what not I found it easier to hook your esc up to the battery, and motor, do you ESC calibration, THEN wire up the Novak booster.

The booster eliminates the need for the ESC on/off switch so that just removes any or all of that confusion.

I highly advise NOT cutting off your esc on/off switch because, well umm you figure it out lol

The switch on the GT 2.0 has the setup button on it like the Silver Arrow 1/8 ESC correct? If so, makes sense then not to cut it off.

Looking forward to some pics of 1S setups.

Is there software on the way or already out for the GT 2.0's to compete with that Tekin RS boost feature?

to clarify, by boost feature I meant the Turbo feature they have.

So the GT 2.0 now has a 1S lipo cutoff feature of do you still need to run with no lipo cutoff?

I personally don't use my LiPo cutoff because I never run longer than allotted qualifiers or mains

So there is a 1S lipo cutoff on the ESC? If so, what software upgrade has it on it?

Cain:
The "extra top end" software has already been in the 2.0s since they were released :-)

Shawn i have a problem , the speed control in the end is not working properly.
Except the fact that the sound dosnt work , when i put the sensor cable at the speed contol the motor dosnt work.
I have to turn the motor a bit and it will work but when i stop it i will not start again.
Without the sensor cable the motor is working but with the sensor cable on its not working properly.
When i move the cable a bit it will work for a while but stop again.
Its not the cable for sure , i tried 2 of them and dosnt work and 2 motors ( speed passion 4t and lrp x11 4t)
What can we do , can i send it somewhere to check it?
My problem is that i live in Greece , can i send it to you or to uk office?
Thanks

Hmmm... My GT 2.0 LPF documentation only lists Running Mode values of 1 and 2... Where are you seeing a value of 3...?

Do the new speedpassion 3.0 motors have an inbuilt fan, like the 2.0 series?

Thanks in advance

Antoni

One the 1.1 and 2.0 programming box there are only two options for "running mode", there is option 1. Forward with Brake, and option 2. Forward/Reverse with Brake
