thanks guys. i have found the problem and solution. yes the % abs mentioned in the manual is the amount of brakes. i eventually got it changed and it is now at 70% and i will test it later this afternoon.

the manual leaves a lot to be desired. in the beginning it was not doing anything so i decided to hold the set key until the orange flashes went through their cycle. it never did... what actually happens is it flashes and beeps simultaneously on each level for 4 or 5 times then changes. so e.g.. 1, 1, 1, 1, then changes to 2, 2, 2, 2...

if that makes sense...

the manual is not clear on this... you must hold down the set key until you reach the area you want to change. it takes about 4-5 seconds to change.

hope this makes sense and saves some people as much time and headache as it did me!!!

Can somebody also be kind enough to further explain what DMTS anD DRRS mean? What does increasing or decreasing their function do? I get that DMTS changes timing, but having the default at 18.75 doesn't mean much to me in terms of where to go from there to increase performance.

DMTS.....dynamic timing, it is the amount of timing that you want to add OVERALL when you are WOT. The timing will be increased per your throttle % (ramp up).....the higher the DMTS that you are adding, the faster the motor, but more heat applied....

DRRS - it is a throttle profile. For Off road, you do want it lower like 6 and under. For ON ROAD, you do want it higher...6 and higher. Higher the number, the more AGGRESSIVE of the throttle respond....

Perfectly explained thank you so much. I was not aware that DMTS was only at WOT. Also, thanks for the explanation on DRRS.

No...it is not only applied at WOT....I was saying, if you say, you set the 27* timing on the DMTS, the 27* extra timing, will finally be archieved at the WOT position, however, when you apply throttle, there are timing adding pertaining to your % of throttle input, until the WOT point, it will ended with 27* total timing added at the end...

The MMM is the newer version, comes with more timing than the V3. Of course you could change that with option parts. The stock board is the orange one on the MMM and the black one on the V3. The green, yellow and blue bump the timing up 10 degrees each.

Hi!

I got as gift GT V2.1 EX from my friend with 5.5T engine SP V3.

Also I have booster, so I'm going to use it in 1/12 class.

I'm looking for setup because std modified software is slow ...
Maybe stock will be better in 1S 1/12... but I can't find setup for that speedo

Help me because I'm lame!

Regards!

The only difference between the V3 and MMM is the sensor board?

No, they share some parts. There are other differences sorry if I was unclear. The MMM is supposed to be lighter, redesigned stator for more power, new end plates for the motor. If I understand correctly you can use the same rotors and sensor boards in both versions. So you could bump up the performance of a V3 if that is what you are running.

You want the MMM version .......esp for TC, it has more torque and the stator winding of MMM is different then V3, more torque and RPM. And yes, it has more timing on MMM then V3.

#1...you do not need booster for EX, EX can run with any booster or receiver pack.

#2...http://www.speedpassion.net/en/escsetup.asp

Look up the 1/12th setup and there is one for the boosted setup.

Thanks for answer.

But there is no value suitable for me, like boost start rpm for 5.5T engine
or some file looks like not finished ...
