Unless something is different, the timing boards go in 10 degree increments, so if you wanted to run say 40 degrees of timing on the can, you need the appropriate board (yellow?). That is probably the only thing that kind of is a knock on the speed passion motors for spec racing as those boards aren't cheap.
If they could make a board that could do the full on range, that would be awesome but I could see it being hard to get it just right. Maybe in a future motor release it could be possible.

Anyone know where I can purchase the lower plastic case on the reventon Pro V1.0?
Mine has cracked and I cannot see anywhere to purchase one.

I am looking for an ESC to run in a WGT or a 1/12 car. Will a Speed Passion Reventon Stock Club Race ESC work on 1S?

I had not tried it personally. But one of my customer did and he said it will not work even with a booster or extra receiver pack...... Please correct me if I am wrong.....

I don't know about the Cirtix, but here's a data point: We are using the Speed Passion Reventon Stock Club Race with the V3 21.5 and 1s LiPo as required equipment in our Legends oval cars. I run a Novak voltage booster, but the other guys just run everything from the 1s voltage, without booster or receiver pack.
It's likely that the circuitry (excluding MOSFETs) is the same between the Cirtix and the Reventon.

MMM is actually faster on smaller track when higher final drive is used.

I like the sound of that but is it going to be soon or are we talking early next year? Sold my 2.1ex prematurely and have not had an esc for my 1/12 for the last 3 months. Desperate for some 1/12 action and we have our Nationals at the start of Feb here in New Zealand.

Did you use the standard timing boards or an optional timing board when you've tested those motors?
