Can you detail what exactly it's doing? Shutting off completely? Do you still have steering but no motor? Does it stop for a second and come back by itself?

Try turn off thermal protection, also, turn off lipo cut off...turn all these protection feature all off. You are running 3.5 motor, you can't have these protection feature on when running hot motor....beside, running a 3.5 on a SCTE especially the BRICK SCTE, some thing will burn.....bad choice of motor.

Just updated Marc Rheinard winning ETS#5 setup on SP page...if you have plenty of rubber tires to play with and have no fear of speed, try that.

http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...5MMM%20Mod.pdf

Viktor Wlick winning REEDY INVITATION setup is the same as the usual small track mod setup that was used by the team thru out the year...the good old 205g software on 4.5T mod motor.

http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...open%20mod.pdf

I will update a new setup for the new 120428STOCK software ran on 17.5 MMM motor by TJ in an hour later, care if you want to try stock boost again..

Default 17.5r mmm

Hello,

Just purchased my first Speed Passion motor 17.5r MMM, for Blinky Class. Very Good looking design!

Took the motor apart and found no shims. What is the best way to Shim? and What rotor does it come with from factory?...it is Silver with Purple ring.

Thank you.

Just done testing and it should be up on the SP site for public to download and use next week....

It has better top end power, better brakes and motor ran cooler then 323stock.

The rotor that is inside your motor, even it is silver in color, it is one of the few that we have from the MFR between JAN to MARCH production unit...that rotor is the same material as the black one but without the black coating. It is NOT the same material as the optional silver super 7 piece. Since then we have changed the rotor color back to BLACK so that it will not be confused by anyone anymore.

Any motor shim will work on the the rotor....even the brushed motor shims.

For those who still do boost 17.5 racing, please check out TJ and Robert Cooper's setup sheets

Solara,

Thanks for the info. So what type of Gauss readings are you getting with the standard purple ring vs purple ring super 7? trying to extract the most RPM's out of this motor, but still want a little low end punch.

Thanks.
