There should be a download for v1.38. So when you connect everything up does the PC software recognize that the ESC is plugged in at all? Does it show you any settings?

Try erasing .36 and installing v1.38. reboot and go through the connection process.

forgive me as I am sure this has been answered, but having a difficult time finding an answer in 855 pages of posts on this thread.

Our club recently adopted the TCS rules for Mini class, I am going to be running a Trinity Killshot 21.5t motor this coming season. I am looking for a good ESC to pair with it. I've used the Reventon Pro in another car for 2 seasons with great success. I am looking at the Reventon S and R esc's for my Tamiya Mini/21.5t. I don't care about reverse as we aren't allowed to run it anyway, the only difference I really care about is that the R has a higher constant and burst rate than the S. Will this give my car better (ie faster) performance? If not I think the S will be sufficient.

thanks,

Either will be more than enough. There has been a lot of movement with guys running the S or even Stock Club Race Reventons in USVTA classes that use a 25.5.

Thank you! I installed V1.38 and it worked!

Now I just need to learn a decent tune that will run good without running hot, I have not been to a track yet.
I have the GT2.0Pro with a Tekin 8.5T 1st gen motor.

I have the DRRS(?) set on 9. How should I setup the boost/turbo settings? I just don't want to cook any parts.
Thanks again.

Hey guys, I picked up a Speed Passion GT 2.1 EX ESC from a friend to stick in my 1/12 scale pan car and it does not have a program card.

It doesn't look like the original card for this ESC (# SPLCD01) is available anywhere, will another program card work on this or am I wasting my time?

Thanks!

Questions?? Prices???

Hey guys does anyone know why the price of SP esc's are going up? Part of the reason I run them is affordability. A few months ago I was able to get reventon stock club race esc's for around $40 and now they're around $70. Anybody know why this is????

I agree with you, affordability is what keeps me with Speed Passion products. They run pretty darn good too.

Running 8.5 I would turn down the DRRS for sure. For the rest you might want to peek at some setup sheets on the main Speed Passion website to compare.

A lot of guys have bought a Hobbywing card and flashed it with the Speed Passion software.
