anyone heard anything about the new SP v. 3.0 engine? when it comes in 17.5? Asked the subject which would be the end of October ...

If your in Sweeden I would look at getting yours from Germany, it'll be a lot cheaper on the shipping

But I've also run out of motors. I must say that we don't race 17.5T so never had one though
I could order one for you to get with my next shipment but don't know how fast you need it

when running stock. with Schumacher mi3.5 (SP GT 2.0 Pro ESC) 17.5T motor, which is to recommend 48pitch or 64Pitch? anything that can usefully be done by car and ESC to get it to do well in stock?

It's up to you, most guys in the US run 64P but I know of about 4 guys using 48P still

The people I talked too from IIC said they were fast, but needed different gearings than the duo's by a good bit.

64pitch gives you better ratio as one tooth of 48 is 2 for 64
48 on the other hand are more durable.

I use for on-road 64 and for off-road 48

I'm a firm beliver in 64p gears and I came from Nitro offroad so that was all 48pitch..even though Ive burned up my share of Spur gears trying to get the mesh right if you r seriouse about racing go 64p
