Running a 17.5T 3.0 ,Blinky TC on Carpet. Currently FDR is 4.2-4.0
It's within the rules to change rotor ,i see there are red, green, orange options.
What would be best option?

See that speed passion is marketing a 1c optimized 13.5 for wgt. Any experience with this motor and tekin rs?
I might get one as the price is sure right. Might also ask how the just stock esc works for 17.5 tc. Would be running it with an lrp x12.

I have run a justock and 3.0 17.5t and with a tekin rs. Prefered the RS it was smoother, similar power.
bump for rotor info!

I don't see any rotor is any better then the stock purple one. #1 you are running carpet, #2, track is not big enough for silver purple...

If you are running outdoor and the track is big enough, 150 foot plus on straight, I would recommend the silver purple super 7.

I also would prefer the TEKIN RS over just stock ESC, only if your track allow that...it is simply a better speedo over the just stock. Not really apple to apple comparison.

The 1 cell motor will be great for your WGT.

I might give it a try. Dont want to wait around for d3's to go off backorder. Cheaper too.

Ill prob get another used tekin for my stock car. Have two already no sense mixing the batch perhaps.

For the money the justock is very good and ideal for spec racing. Thanks for the info solara , any other tips to gain the edge with Speed Passion?

If only it was that easy! There are alot using hpi flux's with different rotors that seem to have the edge on speed thats why i asked.

I'm new here but I must say that I have been running a Cirtix for a year or so and recently picked up a GT 2.0 and it has been great in mod.

I like the looks of the new Speed Passion Reventon ESC.

Now where can I get one? Speed Passion's web page has none in stock.
