Can anyone give me a rule of thumb for gearing with the MMM in comparison to the V3 in non-boosted Stock? Last meet out with the V3 was on a very open offroad track and I was running 4.6 overall ratio in 4WD (motor came off at 70 degrees even). The car was quick, and a few guys even commented, but the two guys with the MMM had more speed.

I was lucky to find the answer so I will share with the thread in case someone else makes the same mistake. You gotta have the speedo plugged into a 2S lipo not a 1S. Thanks mohamoti you are a lifesaver.

MMM is usually about 1T or 2T lower then V3...simply because MMM has a red 20* timing board...

You can buy any kinda CAP that you want and solder it. Rheinard one is shorter but not smaller. pretty darn big and because he is running MOD. Depends on what you are running (motor vise) and we have several caps for you to choose from.

Try my 1s setup on the SP website. It is with a 13.5mmm with a 10 degree board. With the v3 motor go 1 to 2 teeth more.

Thanks....I will do some 12th scale this winter, but will probably run no boost with cirtix club spec. Try to create a cheap class for the 12th scale. I think cirtix with 10.5 V2 is the way to go.

We bounce back and forth from 13.5 boosted and 13.5 blinky 12th scale. We have handful of guys that go to the big races. We have a 17.5 blinky 12th scale also.
I ran 17.5 blinky last night. WOW was that slow after running 13.5 boosted.
