Hi,

Looking for a starting fdr for SP 10.5t V3 boosted, on asphalt with a 45m straight quite open and flowing. Is it best to leave the timing on the motor in the centre ? I've tried gearing from about 6.3 upto 5.2 ?

Thanks.

I always maxxed the timing on my v3 10.5s, that was with the standard sensor board

Default need the 20 deg sensor board for 1 cell 13.5 blinky?

Our local track venues have settled on running 1/12th with 13.5 blinky. My 1/12th car is outfitted with the 1cell specific SP speedo (with blinky software) and I'm intending to order one of the SP13.5 motors that is also intended for 1cell racing. My question......with this combo of SP speedo (set to blinky) and the new edition 1 cell SP 13.5 motor......should I also get one of the new 20 deg sensor boards? Or does 1cell blinky 13.5 run better with the standard sensor board?

You need both...20* and 30*....we used both on BOOST 2S TC racing, depends on track size....

Perry the other week, I used the 30 degree one in my 13.5 running blinky 1/12th scale. See you after the National's at Middle River for 1/12th scale action.

does the new +10 degree and +20 degree sensor useful for touring mod?
also is the new mmm motor use same gear ratio as v3 (for my 13.5 boosted)?

This past weekend we had a track temp of 135F. I ran a GT2.1 ESC in 17.5 boosted with no fan and a LPF 2.0 with a fan for MOD (7.5 w\ boost via 323 Stock SW). Both setups ran great the entire day. You could enable the thermal protection for a few runs and measure the ESC temps to make sure your not running too hot without it.

Sorry, not at this moment...
+10 might be...but I highly doubt +20 is needed.
Yes, very much the same...
No, it came with +10° red sensor. Not the green one (+20°)

I was running the new MMM 10.5R this weekend and it did feel a bit slower than the competition 1-cell 10.5R and also less top speed. I have been using the 10.5 settings for 110323stock from the Speed Passion site (Large Outdoor Open 10.5 Mod Racing) which has been great except I was running DRRS on 3 and FDR of 7.05. On the new motor the timing was to the right (+20), the 1-cell 10.5R had the +10 setting.

Any suggestions? Does this new motor prefer another FDR? I did not get the time to play around with it.

I ran a very similar setup with a 6.98 ratio on a xray 011 and had the same pull as 5.0 out of the corners and more speed on straight.

btw I'm glad to see Team Speedpassion getting on board with the boosted mod thing. seems I'm not so crazy after all.
