Default pro stock 2.1

Just got my SP Pro stock 2.1. so I am excited to replace the tekin rs thats in the car now.

I have a Duo 1 in the car now, are the latest SP 3.0 version 17.5's torque based or rpm based motors? I am wondering if gearing needs to be changed substantially.

Gear similar to DUO base motor is good enough...but I recommand turn the timing to the max 10* on the SP 17.5 V3 motor to start (for 17.5...the max 10* timing on the can works the best).

For 17.5 TC setting...check out SP team setup page and you should find all kinda setup for this motor and ESC, indoor and outdoor...carpet or asphalt.

Merry Christmas guys.

i have just recieved my Speed Passion gear. in an Xray T3, V2.0 speedy, and 4t v3 motor, i calibrate to my radio, and when i turn it on, the motor revvs for like 1 sec. if i didnt have it on a stand, it probably would have gone through my window ? is this normal ? or have i done something wrong ? I am running the Duo 1 in the middle setting now. I'll max out the timing on the SP motor and get some settings off the web.

Generally with the spec zero timing classes we're running maxed timing with a final drive ratio of 3.7-4.2. With the boosted 17.5 class I've found that with the right settings you can run around a 6.9 FDR and be pretty safe temperature wise.

Maybe you calibrated it wrong? Mine doesn't do that with either v2 or v3 motors.

Try setting a fail safe on your radio. I had this same problem when I first got my speed passion equipment a year and a half ago. I don't have to on my tekin or my old mamba stuff. I think it has to do with the arm time, the speed passion is ready to go as soon as you flip the switch the rest take a little bit. Hope this helps.

Would anyone be able to sugest a gearing for a 5t in a TC. I cant find the recommended gearing anywhere.

6 cell 8.0. to 10

Try to follow the calibration setup and do it 1 more time...hope that will work for you. If not...in some ODD reason, try reverse your throttle setting (that was only for FUTABA radio owner only). But I had a KO customer got that work so don't ask me why....it just work for him. Give that a try.

For the 10,000 time...make sure your throttle EPA and Brake EPA are on 100%...not 105% not 95%, both 100%...default.

090205MOD is what the 2X WORLD CHAMPION Marc Rheinard used for mod TC and mod 12th scale. You won't go wrong with that...

If you want to try the SUPERCHARGER version...use 100528MOD.

We have both software ESC setup on our site.
