Guys
Going to try my hand at rubber tc. I will be running stock 528 w/ SP 17.5 v3 on a small/med size track with a 90ft straight. Any idea on starting point for gearing? I'm an offroad guy so...this is all new to me.

Start around 5.0FDR depending on SC timing.

Does anybody have a good setup for a GT 2.0 on carpet with a 10.5T?
What gearing are you using?

Thanks

Just found out no boost allowed so I will do Zero timing. Any suggestions on start gearing? What about timing on the actual motors endbell?

No timing 17.5? 4.0 final drive is always a solid starting point on the track size you describe. You might gear up a tooth, but its a good starter point. Which motor are you using?

Hope that helps!

I generally run maxed endbell timing, no matter what the track size, but my gearing ranges anywhere from 3.7-4.2 FDR.
