I can't seem to make this ESC play nice with my DUO or DUO2's, though. It seems like no matter what, they run hot and slow. Even with less physical timing on the motor. I prefer the DUO when I run a Tekin though.
Give us a week or two and we will see what we can find out with other non-SP motors. We will let you know what we find.

tnx in advance.
i think your question should be in the tekin thread since you are using a tekin esc, gearing depends on track size and how much timing is used

Hey guys,

been running my GT2.0 Pro with a 4.5T for two days and its amazing, just few questions to make sure am on the right path.

1- withing 3-4 minutes of my run, the motor/esc temp is around 67/68 C, when am done running after 10 minutes (practise) the temp is around 80-81C, is that good or too low ??? my gearing is a bit low for our track, i know i need a smaller pinion but thats what i have now. whats the tamp not to exceed after 6 minutes??

2-how long shall i wait between 2 runs?? do i have to wait untill the electronics cool down to room temp or can i run one pack after another??

cheers

Ali

1- You can run the motor to 95C in racing conditions and dont exceed that temp.

2- You should always give a resting period after a full pack run, it gives chances for everything to return back to normal, room temperature would be ideal but a an in between temp is good enough.

Alot....the new program makes more power at the bottom and the top speed is a little faster as well. Overall the new stuff is better.....give it a try.

The beauty of these programmable ESC's is that you can dial out the punch with a few clicks of the mouse .

Default info please?

Could anyone basically give me what the difference is in the GT2.0 Pro, GT2.0 LPF, or the GT2.1pro stock? Do they come with a fan and the programming card? What is best for 1/10 scale 17.5/13.5/mod or 12th scale racing? Is the V3 what most run with these speedos? Looking to try something other than a Tekin/LRP.

Thanks for your time,

Ivan

All 3 come with a fan and the programming card

GT2 LPF has motor limit while GT2 doesn't
GT2.1 has same size but larger fan and heatsink, it's main purpose is stock racing
For modified take GT2, for stock GT2.1 for 12th maybe GT2 or GT2 LPF

You can use nay motor you like, I personally prefer to use same brand's motor, for no special reason
