side note:,, thats PVC pipe, think its 2 or 2 1/2 inch, its held together with cheap muffler pipe cut into 6 inch sections, at one end it is inserted in the pipe, a hole drilled and then riveted so it stays permenate, the other is inserted in the next pipe, a hole drilled a bolt dropped in so it doesn't come apart, (actually we have a "jig" one of the guys made for drilling the tube and pipe) the grey stuff in the corners is also pvc pipe, just a different type so they could bend it.

sorry for leaving out the good stuff, FDR was 6.14 or so, I had 5 degrees of timing on the motor, drrs set to max, amts set to 18.75 for the two heats and then changed to 22.5 for the 3rd heat. sc boost was #8 rpm delay was #2 throttle delay was #2 punch was #1 or #2,

I don't get to run 17.5 much so I'm still learning.

btw, I don't use a fan and temps were still good, it was a cool day, there was enough of a margin that even when the temp gets hot, the motor should still be fine. but as always, your results may vary

So we can use the standard settings box to get to the other settings for the 422? Can someone clarify...if so that would be sweeet!!!

once you upgrade lcd box you can use that i uesd it tonight

havent tested 1s doin it tomorow just loaded 422 on the speedo i run v3 sp 13.5 i will let you know what i find

Funny enough, Ive ran the 422 with a 17.5 Duo twice now and ended up with FDR of 6.16, ATMS set to 1 off max (which is 22.5 i think). DRRS on Max. Boost at 8, SC punch at 1. But my RPM was at 3000, and my throttle delay was slightly longer #5 0.4s.

its a good setting, quite, bordeline temps - 60-65C

I honestly think after #12, it is all preference. A lot of drivers have found excellent results with numerous settings. I am just glad we can finally be competitive again. What a relief and a blessing.

So I must not have been pushing mine at all the other night when I was using the X software! I was coming of at 110, that was max after 5 mintues. I was using a 5.37 fdr and a comp v3 17.5. Why are most using such high final drives. My track is only about 75x45 and guy's with tekins are running 5.4. about 5.9 I believe. If I am doing this wrong please tell me....LOL

No, you are geared right. Like i said, this software likes the lower FDR's.

Sweet, so now just play with the other settings and go from there? I also am looking for a chart that may have all of the settings so I can have it in my pits or atleast the other settings that are not on the basic settings box.

is it still the same as this?

12.Supercharger Boost Level: Off Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3 Stage 4 Stage 5 Stage 6 Stage 7 Max
13. Supercharger RPM Delay: 4000 5000 6000 7000 8000 9000 10000 11000 12000
14. Supercharger Full Throttle Delay Off 0.1 0.2 0.3 0.4 0.5 0.6 0.7 0.8
15. Supercharger Punch: Motor Hot - Max -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 -7 Motor Cooler - Low

Supercharger Boost Level: This sets the overall supercharger power level. High levels may increase speed, but always at the expense of motor heat.

Supercharger RPM Delay: This controls when the supercharger settings engage. When the motor RPM reaches this setting, the ESC will engage the supercharger.

Supercharger Full Throttle Delay: This setting delays the application of the supercharger function until after a set time has been reached while holding FULL Throttle.

Supercharger Punch: This setting controls timing advance at RPMs below the Start RPM setting. Lower settings decrease motor temps, and higher settings increase punch and motor temps.

Hello guys with a little bit of delay i have changed the SP Esc setup sheet.
Now the dimensions are less Kb so will be possible upload and share (for who wants ) our setups directly on the forum.

here are my settings so far for 17.5 and 13.5. both are working very well and the motor comes of about 112 degrees.
