Adam,

Car is a Xray T2r Pro / 1.7 ratio / I'm using the 205G Mod software / the spur & pinions are 48P gearings

Mod is a little tricky because it's strap the fastest thing to your car and hang the hell on. So there really isn't any right or wrong answer.

I would just make sure you're not running the "stock" software, I would say 205G, and have your timing somewhere in the low to middle settings, and the punch set to whatever you can handle.

205g works good and 323 is also good with a smoother feel.

As far as I know...if you are running anything faster then 10.5 motor, you just have to use the right motor to your track and hang the hell on. There is no need of TURBO or BOOST or TIMING ADVANCE when you are running 4.5T motor on a 250 foot track. Let the motor spin the hell out and last 5 minutes without blow the hell out. Using 205g or 323 are good enough.

Now...for the new stock software, you use it for anything 10.5 and slower...pretty safe to use it on 13.5 and slower and for 10.5 and 11.5, better keep an eye on the AMTS because the stock software will put those motor to their best limit and if gearing is wrong, turbo, boost and timing advance are wrong, you are going to blow a $75 motor in less then 3 minutes. (Did that 4 times in 1 day...thats why we do the testing.)

IRGO, again.....Hobbywing software, Hobbywing stuff, Hobbywing setting...Hobbywing development....etc What does that have to do with Speed Passion GT2.0 speed control?

did you try my post?
, i am not talking for Hobbywing,
i am talking for Speed Passion benefit.

with the way in my post you can save 3 profile settings on computers,
from your GT2.0 with Speed Passion LCD Professional.
and Speed Passion LCD Professional will still be Speed Passion version.

you can save them 3 profile before changing the firmware,
this way you will not lost any Profile, anymore.

You must try that.

The sample result is on My attachment.

Hello all,

I have an Xray T2 with a Nemisis motor, what size sensor cable would I need? 70mm?

Thanks,

hello
I have a doubt:

I run with a motor speed passion V3.0 9.5 T with the timing in 5º (standard) If I advance the timing to 10º of the max allowed in the motor how many pinions I have to reduce to maintain the same temperature.

To help I run with a final ratio of 5,5 with the motor timing in 5º the motor temperature is 75ºC

Thanks in advance.
Best regards:
Pedro Silva

I'm running 110 with a 10.5 and I didn't really find it made the motor too hot. With moderate motor timing (duo 1 middle hole) and ESC timing on either of the top two settings it got a little warm but you could feel it was over timed so it was pretty obvious that running 5 mins would be trouble. You just need to be conservative with your gearing and test each setting thoroughly.

If the new software is anything like the tekin we'll be gearing our 10.5s lower than mod

It was recommended to use the 205c or 205g. 205g is more aggressive. 205c smoother. I'm running 205c in my RB5 2wd with the Novak 13.5. Faster than I can use on my track. Could probably gear down. Motor coming off hardly warm. Tons of brakes. I'm going to try an Orion 13.5 I have for the heck of it.

Smile 1S Lipo Compatable??

Hey Adam,

Any idea if the new firmware will work with a 12th Scale, 17.5, 1S LiPo car? Better then the 323 or 312? I know, I said the dreaded word, "1S"....sorry. Been playin around with timming and gearing and seeing as how the Nemisis motors don"t seem to like timming, I have set my timming to zero with a little better results. I am now going to try setting the ESC LPF timming down from 26 to 22 and then gear up a tooth or 2 to see if that helps.

Any thoughts.....

Thanks,

Brent
