You can also name these settings in the software before hand so its easy to identify.

I find it interesting I preach to you guys on a daily basis on the importance of good solder, and a good soldering iron, Yet I caught myself using some cheap ass solder that ruined the tip of my Hakko tonight...

The internal drive on the TC4 is 2.5. Right now I'm using a 68t spur and a 35t pinion with the Havoc, for a FDR of about 4.8 I think. What do you all think would be a good FDR to start with? Thanks
Dan
I'm currently running 3.57 80t x 56t pinion (64p) on my team carbon tub tc4, with a SP 1.1 and v3 17.5 motor timing max for a smallish indoor track here, temped at 150 to 170f. For a large local indoor track(60x100) I've gone down as low as 3.39 (59t) temped around 160f.........trackpower 4900 gold brick....

anyway......run a few minuets and watch temps and LAP times, one may go up and the other down. Gear for lap times!

What Start mode and timing would you suggest for the two motors?

Ah Ha! That much I know.

If you go to the SP site, go to "accesories", Click on the LCD programmer. When the page comes up there will be buttons across the top. Click on "downloads". There will be a file for the new 1.32 program. If that's what you're looking for, that should do it.

Rob.....

Have tested for 2 days both 107 and 110 with SP 13.5T V3 motor on an indoor track (medium size/fairly tight/about 10 sec laptime). All settings in ESC maxed out as well as the timing on the motor set to max. Rubber tires (Sorex 36).

The 107 feels faster (more push/aggresive), but the fastest laptimes as well as 5 min total came with the 110 version. It feels a bit softer than the 107 version, but is still fast. Improved personal best over 5 min with one lap (about 10 seconds) with the 110 software compared to recent personal best with the GM120 ESC/GM13.5T motor as well as 2 tenths on laptime, so the 110 it will be for the next race

Motor temp was about 55-57 degrees Celcius with 110 after 6 minutes. With the 107, the temp increased to 70 degrees celcius (about 170 F) after 6 minutes. FDR was 6.35 which is max allowed in our local winter champs.

Can imagine the 107 would be better on larger track. Will test 107 (or any replacement) later when the snow is gone and the outdoor season starts again in the spring...

Default Help me figure this out.

I downloaded the new software for my SP 2.0 LPF. I am running a 13.5 class at my local club. From what I have read the 110 is way to go? I am running a cyclone tc with a sp 13.5 first gen motor. Can some one me point if in a good set up for my esc, also what FDR should I start with. Remember my SP 13.5 is the first gen.

Second question I trying to set up my sons car to run VTA 21.5 on a HPI pro 4, Again same question as far a starting setting and FDR. Same ESC, hovever the motor is a Novak 21.5 ss.

Thanks
