Default Best tires for speed

FT TC4
Mamba 5700K
3s 5400mah 3s Lipo
72/20 gearing

The car is wicked fast, acceleration is out of this world (even with it geared for top speed).

I'm looking for a tire that will give me the most traction and will also yield good performance for top speed ones.

Hardest foam tires i can find?
Opinions appreciated.

I'm currently running Team Sorex 28R tires. They are super soft/sticky... But the power the brushless system has is just so much.

I just need to make sure the tires stay on the wheels and practice my throttle control

Anyone else run the Sorex tires before?

I've had the x pattern tires before there very great! and what I ment about the A-arms is to not wreck and break em with all that brutal power! lol

I would recommend foams just for the simple fact that they will stay in place nicely. Cut the fronts down to around 15-20mm for better sability.

I am setting up a FT TC4 for some fast runs, too. Just curious, did you go with the 5700 over the 7700 because of going to a 3 cell LiPo? how much more power are you getting over a 7700 with a 2 cell?

To be completely honest. I got the Factory Team TC4 & 5700K mamba brand new together from a guy in Canada. (currency was very good for me when i bought it, so it came out CHEAP)

The 5700K on 3s should do about 60-70mph
Not sure what the 7700K on 2s would do...
