I'm thinking that if they don't think the car needs it, Schumacher won't develop it. And really, no car NEEDS it. More of a convenience thing with what guys are doing right now.

Aftermarket, maybe.

Which ever it is, I'll be all over it.

I need my car to rotate on power,. I drove a friends car and could throttle steer it a bit, I am going to try a tighter rear diff as I run it pretty loose, what else is good to try?

You could also try standing up the rear shocks one or two holes.

Also, if you need more on-power steering in general, decrease your front droop. I'm guessing you want to lose a touch of rear traction though, not gain front?

I couldn't say for sure until I drove the car, I don't want it twitchy, it could use more overall steering, but I'd like to work on one aspect at a time. This layout had a few hard braking sections, I could get into the turn, but not out of the tight 180s.

The old track layout at my local track had several 180's on it and I used the 1 deg rear hubs so I could free the car up while still keep the same rear toe so the rotates better from there I adjust the rear trans links for more or less rear traction/rotation I'll be glad to look for my setup sheet give you a copy if you would like .

Run only 1mm or less of droop in front. Measure this by lift method over ride height. Doing this will have a huge impact over handling, messing with anything else like shock position camber links and so on have minimual effects on RC cars

Joey, I ran 1mm of front droop at the race. I will email you my two setups that I have used at the track so far. Both has good turn in and rotation. One I think is better.

congratulations to jeff maurer and ritchie reynolds for thier great driving at the reedy race of champions! ritchie, (sky pilot) qualified 7th in the A main in 17.5 class. he finished abouth 7th or 8th, but only because he couldnt catch a break,,,,(what a mauling),,,sky pilot was in the B main in open mod. Jeff, (racer-x) qualified 7th in the B main in the 17.5 class. the cars, MI-4rs, were really hooked up.

It would've been really cool to see a couple more of Schuie's asphalt assassins out at the Reedy to give those guys more support With several phone calls back and forth, we got Ritchies' cars working pretty good, especially the 17.5 car. His mod car was no slouch either, but I think everyone was playing "tag, you're it!" with the orange Schuie...

Shock position makes a huge effect on these cars, are you nuts? I started out with a 2nd car with a different setup, the biggest change that I had to undo was running the rear shock stood up one hole in the tower and in one hole on the arm, it made the car undriveable. I have not run as low as 1mm droop up front on asphalt, I can give it a try.

Your cars ran real good this past weekend Steve. They looked real happy out there.......... And your right about droop settings. I ran 1mm in the front and 2mm in the rear and the rotation got real good in my Losi, especially late in the day.
