I had a great time with my LP this last weekend. I can't wait to get it on my home track and put a hurting on the Corally and Xray guys.

maybe. the NEGS/ROAR runs 1420g limit, so it's not really needed (imo). and personally, i like keying in the cells with stick/glue-on weights. the new chassis, though slick, sort of makes that tougher to do.

it's really just a preference thing in the u.s.

I noticed that too. More than likely its for balance. When I have my motor in all the way I have to add weight to the electronic's side of the car. No longer is the lipo side the light side.

Thats what I thought to. But someone at my track pointed out that when you have the motor pushed in, its pretty much touching the top deck, and I wonder if that affects the flex? I mean it doesnt bug me either way, I just wonder what Chris's reason is

It's balance. With the lipo moved, the motor is fine in the standard position and doesn't need moving in. Although that will always depends on the weight of the parts that people use - i.e electronics, Battery etc - hence it is still usful to have options.
