Ladder chassis (similar to the WRC itallian car) carbon arms (like awesomatix) which still uses plastic hubs.....

That's my "guess"

If you look closely at that second picture, you can make out what would appear to be a rear shock tower, as well as an aerial mounted towards the front of the car.
Definitely two right side wheels and looking through the windows on the bodyshell, you can also see what appears to be a left rear wheel. I suspect there may be a left front wheel which the picture doesn't show.
The car also appears to use at least three body posts, I'm guessing a fourth is used at the left rear corner of the car, and topped off with traditional body pins.

So disappointing to see no real effort to progress chassis development.

Here's something from Red RC

How difficult can it be to get a spypicture or then write something about how it is built???

Hope some manufacturer finally makes some development on the suspension...then I will buy that car. It they make a improved awesomatix style suspension but with normal dampers that should be a great start.

Anyone know if Hofer was running the Mi5, too? His car looked fast in legs 2 and 3 of the A Main.

Yes, Martin was running the pre production car. I looked at the car the all weekend and it does look nice. It is as Luke said, also an awesomatix style steering rack.
