Stormer has the mi4cxl for pre-order @390. Seems almost too cheap to be true.

Default mi4cxL

very interested in knowing what that of time frame the CXL is coming out.

wish they would come out with a new steering knuckle and Chub design..a bit dated..
but it does work very well.

Cars are available from Schumacher now. We already have our first shipment in the air on the way to Australia and expect to put them in customer hands middle of next week.

Hi guys. Im ordering my first Schumacher next week and have been debating which car to get, the new CXL or just the CX. I do most of my racing on carpet.

Im wondering which car is better suited on carpet. The CXL has the 2mm soft weave chassis which sounds more suited for ashpalt racing? Any opinions would be great! thank you

I wonder what parts do I need to convert the anti roll bar to CXL style, long upper deck make working on anti-roll bar much harder.

looks like a full set of arms. (New arms appear to have different mounting locations).
New style bars of course.
New bar holder
ohh...and let's not forget the new bulkheads. everything was low cost except for this change. Mucho Mulllaaaa...
if you have access to a CNC perhaps new holes can be placed into existing bulkheads.

Might be better to order a CXL and use the CX as a spare parts car...

believe I read that the new bulkheads are .5 mm closer. or something to that effect. can anyone confirm... I would assume the CX bulkheads bolt right onto the CXL softweave chassis and vice versa.

Bulkhead spacing is exactly the same as it always has been. As you say, chassis can be swapped between cars if you really wanted to!!

Hi guys.

I have posted the Setup I have used at ETS Rd. 2 in Italy.
It's my basic setup for the CXL!

I have also made some pictures of my car (as requested :-)

You can find both posts on my blog

Have fun reading and feel free to ask questions anytime.

I'm very sorry when it takes me ages to answer to private messages but I don't check them very regularly to be honest :-)

Default hinge pin holders

Hofer
any particular reason you went from alloy blocks to the molded blocks?
thanks for the pics.

The only reason why I was using alloy mounts previously was that the rollcenter on the cx with plastic mounts was not where it was meant to be. This has been fixed with CXL so now plastic mounts are geometrically correct.

thank you.

i would assume it is set at a lower height on the CXL.

anything you can post one here..regarding small changes to the CXL not found on the Schumacher web site.
i don't think Schui site list that as a change.

thanks much appreciated.
