Off subject a little but why would a top team driver be using 40mhz ? He must feel that there is an advantage to it!

Hello, the car work well in Euros, but the track are very thecnical and the variable conditions make more difficult to drive, i talk with they for the new parts i see in the cars.
The new brackets, move the ball link a litle, to the center of the car and a litle to the center, and they support the swaybars up, this for litle more traction and the up swaybars, is best to eliminate the tweak in it.
But this mod, need a extra hole in whishbones.
The new rear tower have more holes, more inclined shocks.
How you can see in photos, is there a new spool, similar to TIR spool, with plastic outdrives, and very light 7075-T16 aluminium.
The center post, help a lot with very light bodyshells.
I run for first time the new steering, are not best or bad, i like it, is a preference of driver, i feel the car go more round in turns, but the first batterys with it the car feeling is strange, very sensitive to inputs, in high grip.
Schumacher worked very hard, to go up in competitive, testing new parts and ideas, stay tuned ...

Greetings, Luis C.

You guys seriously have issues with the driveshafts? Odd..... Seriously this car has been all but flawless for me. Seriously I have such confidence in the parts quality that I don't stock spares generally. ONLY when I break a part will I buy 2. Wear and tear on the kit has been so very minimal for me as well.

Not here to argue though, EVERYONE has a different experience with a kit.

On a side note, I just LOVE the Schumacher diff. Best diff I have had yet.

Now go forth and crash less!
+1

petitrc.com. Has a combination of setups posted on this thread, Schumacher's website, and setups that have been sent directly to them.

Has anybody tried running a ball diff up front instead of a spool on carpet? How did it compare to a spool? It would stop me having any driveshaft problems I have had in the past like blades wearing fast, CV joint pins breaking as Im not as smooth as I should be on carpet but dont want to loose to much performance.

Your views/opinions are all appreciated.

Thanks

The spool is inconsistent on a small carpet track for me. So i run a diff. lets it turn better. As far as setups, set the car up as the manual says and put your ride height at 5.5 front and rear and use a droop gauge and put 5 in front and 4 in rear and you should be set. that is the biggest adjustment tha tyou will notice right off. then the other adjustments are for specific fine tuning. dont get yourself all mixed up with different setups until you can run consistent laps times and not hit the wall so much. Then work from there.
