Jilles, question about your setup.

Why did you put o-rings in the shock when you can limit the shock length with the droop screw?

and what is the difference of running the camber link at #1 instead of #3 on the bulkhead? most setup i see use the #3 spot.

thanks

Firstly, thanks for the setup Jilles, looks pretty standard fare! I am loving my 417 at the moment, and the Sanwa handset is soooooo just brilliant Followed your advise for setting it up in terms of dual-rates etc, and it's just awesome in it's response. And no glitching either

I think when Jilles put 2-Oring's, he means in the bottom of the shock. Instead of having a single o-ring and the plastic spacer, he replaces the spacer with a second O-ring. I may be wrong (and JGH will be able to explain better ) but I recall it gives a bit more traction, and less likely to leak.

I can answer the camber link question too. Longer (hole 3) makes the car more stable, and react slower, also gives less camber change. Hole 1 seems to give more corner speed, and a quicker reaction. I've moved from 3 to 1 on my setup recently, car is just plain faster with it like that!

Its good for low/mid grip tracks. High grip you want to keep it solid.

Wondering if the fluid that comes with the new gear diff is useful?
Any idea what weight fluid? and does the new gear diff leak with 1000w in it?
Thanks
