Hi Jilles,
Congrats on your 2-in-a-row at the Snows.

Looking at your Futaba Cup setup, I noticed you run a 1D, 1B blocks in the front. What are the benefits to this for outdoor racing? Does it give you more inner steering radius?

thx,
Chris.

Hey Jilles, one last tech question. What ESC's did you use for mod and 13.5 1/12? Thanks.

I think he mentioned LRP stockspec (1 page back) with the rest of 12th scale details.

Jilles,

One thing I've never seen posted on a Tamiya set up sheet is diff position. Do you ever run your diff's high? Like at Snowbirds... Just finishing up 2 417's and its nice they have cleared room for diff high. The 416 we had to grind on the bottom of the front mounts to make room for the spool out drives. What a pleasure it was to build the 417. All the little refinements make this car over the top. Can't wait to get them on the track!

Thanks,

Kody

For those who can't see the shims etc on JGH's setups, I've redone them onto other pdf's... but are too big to upload here, so links are...

JGH - Snowbirds 2011

JGH - RC City - 2011 Futaba Cup
