We had a great race in 2008 and made many improvements and will continue to do that in 2009. We know that we can and will do what ever it takes to make this the best race we can. With economy the way it is we are going to keep the cost as low as possible. The hotel prices will stay the same as last year and we will keep racing costs the same as last year. Hope to see all of you at the 30th anniversary of the Cleveland US Indoor Champs.

Truthfully you might not be able to buy that many round cells by then! Almost all matchers are doing away with them. It may be worth while to just call a few larger matchers to see what their plans are before making the decision.

Already scheduled off work and looking forward to another year.

So if you have a tplate car what do you do,according to roar you will still be able to run the round cells for the 09 season,I think the lipo cars are just going to get a weight break.

I have also heard they are working on a 1s lipo saddle pack. This rule will force two or three manufactures to retool there cars asap.

Thats FALSE. There will be two seperate classes for 12th scale....One round cells and one Lipo....they will not be mixed. And from what Dawn posted at the Nats it will probably be Lipo classes only.

Yes there are a few companies working on saddle packs for single cell lipo.

Okay that's good news,we will just dilute the racing yet again,1/12 scale was the largest class at the nats what was wrong with it?

Evolution is great but sometimes it hurts.

Diluting the class will be an issue at Nats. It does not need to be an issue at the other big indoor races this winter. Simply pick one and run it.

Personally, I would like to see LiPo. Several have proven that the t-bar thing is a non issue already. If there is enough demand I'll bet that we'll see a saddle pack soon.
