anonymity can be a coward's way of hiding behind hurtful words. our words should edify and impart grace. If I'm unwilling to use my name, my motives may be to hurt, not help. anonymity allows others to be unkind without having to take responsibility for their words.
I'm hoping to make a return to Cleveland after a two year absence. The class list is interesting for sure. No, Dirla, I'm not running VTA. You had your shot at me at Snowbirds.
Sonny,
How 'bout a 'radio guy' grudge match? You and me, pick a class. Highest finisher has bragging rights.

Dunno know yet. I'm pretty sure stock 1/12th scale. Not sure what class to drop the sedan in yet. Fairly sure it will be something with rubber tires. Gotta find a roomie first.

Big thanks to all our sponsor for making this race great and to you the racer
I have been wanting to go to Cleveland for as long as I can remember. I thought that this year might be the one, but with only two Rubber classes I don't think I will be making the trip. Maybe next year. I wonder when race promoters will learn to adjust to what is happening in the industry. There are more rubber tire entries for IIC in three classes then the rest of the six combined. The entire world is making a big shift towards rubber tire, yet many of the big races in the US show little attention to rubber tire. I know that Cleveland has a ton of history with pan car racing and really foam in general, but I think it might be time to change the focus. The numbers speak for themselves even without my personal bias. Want to double your entires?...then add more rubber tire classes!
Just my 2 cents...don't hate if you don't agree.

art, on the other side, the entry numbers from Cleveland last year showed that TC had more foam interest than rubber.

What's popular in one part of the country is different than what's popular somewhere else. Foam racing still does very well in this area.
Not every race has to be EVERYTHING to EVERYONE. Want to use the "world" as an example? Their big races are usually just 2 classes. Over here, you can have 11 friggin' classes and people still complain.

I don't think anyone is really complaining. I think what it comes down to is what's more important. Making the D main when the list stretches all the down to the S main, or making the A main due to only having enough racers for one heat?
