TT01D gearing options.
Howdy!!!
Need advice and explanation of gearing for my TT01D.
Currently i am running stock 61/19 which is not bad.
My pinion gear busted so i need to replace it and was wondering the difference that gearing makes?
Is the 58/22 different and if so how, faster acceleration, top speed?
What do the numbers mean and how do i interpret them eg. 6.85 vs 8.53??
I am running standard motor 540 sports tuned.
Any advice would be appreciated?

get rid of the black can motor.Go for a 23t tamiya motor-rz/tz so you can still use the stock esc.Gearing it 22\58 will give it more top end, but slower acceleration.Or//// buy a used unlimited esc-many are cheap now, and get a lower turn motor -like a peak racing 17tdouble and gear it 58/22/23/24 and have some fun.
