you are so very wrong...

the different colored labels tell you nothing about what generation a cell is!!!

if you have enough money GP will make any color label you would like!

zebra stripes = epic
rainbow = trinity
green and orange = SMC
blue = yokomo
i probably missed a few colors one pops up every month!
1st generation GP cell voltage from 1.13-1.15 IR 3.0 +
2nd generation GP cell voltage from 1.15-1.19 IR less than 3.0
3rd generation GP cell volatge from 1.14-1.17 IR less than 2.8 cell is also shorter with a slightly higher runtime and slightly less voltage but with a lower IR .. the above manufactures paid GP X amount of dollars to have there own color shrink wrap..the color of the shrink has nothing at all to do with voltage,IR or runtime..you must look at the actual matcher label in order to figure out what generation you have in your hand..well except for the 3rd gen cells because they are shorter to conform to roar rules..i hope this is the last "what color thread i read" yikes!

Your wrong too. The green and orange wrap is the OEM GP colors. Anyone that buys direct from GP without their own lable, will get cells that have the Green and Orange color scheme.

The new cells rip on the track. Ran them this weekend, punch from hell and rumtime to boot.

speed demon do you have problems reading? the new cells or gen 3 are shorter than the past gen gp cells..the shrink wrap has nothing to do with anything...

and sorry smc is a distributor for gp so i know his cells are green and orange..but i also see that pro match sells the same green and orange shrink..my bad..
