Hi Steve,

ROAR does not have a set rule for the saddle as yet. But I have discussed with Ruben from ROAR. Hopefully ROAR works with us to pass because my ideas are not always conventional, I'm thinking outside of the box most of the time.

Update: our 1S straight lipo pack will be 5000mah with a 40c rating! And it will not have wires coming out of it. Something different.

Gavin,

Thanks for your response. I forgot that ROAR only has addressed the straight "block" type of lipo. Hopefully Ruben and ROAR can work with you and your product and get something approved for all the saddle pack 1/12th scale cars out there. Please keep us posted.

Steve

Hey Gavin...long time old friend...I'm pleased to see your focused on designing a saddle pack config...this is much appreciated as I recently purchased a CEFX Phoenix.

Send me an e-mail at work if you need to borrow a 1/12th chassis for designing the 1s saddle pack...i have a few different manufacturers.

Good luck and let me know once you're products are available for sale...where can we purchase them?

I hear ya! And I am trying. But you just can't rush certain things. First to be released is the standard pack followed by our saddle pack. I will have the final release dates next week but I am still pushing for end of month release on the standard pack.

it's next WEEEEEKKKK!!! as I got down to 11.5 with my smc 25c 4000 I figure that pulling 11.2 with 4cell could be doable with saddle pack lipo

what will the specs be? 5000 40c?
