I was meaning, email me your letters to him, I'll print them off, and hand them to him on thursday, assuming he's there. You have to realise that he is probably reading this.

Default BBC Watchdog

If you don't get any joy with John, try contacting BBC Watchdog. Enough of you who've had problems will have to contact them for them to look into it, but I think if everyone on here who has complained contacts them, then they will probably investigate, after all, just from my basic estimates, we're talking about a thousand pounds worth of unfullfulled orders here.

Their website is bbb.co.uk/watchdog/

Or you could just go round, knock on his door and ask for your goods or money back

Hint .,.... run a WHOIS search on his domain name (nominet dot org dot uk)

I just received an email from John's girlfriend telling me

"Sarah you need to get your fucking story straight about john because i was the one that paid for the holiday to australia for us two out of my money that my nan left me you fucking bitch..."

She wrote more, but you don't need to know the rest, and if she or John post the rest of the email, I'll report them to the police.

She goes on as saying that 60% of the refunds have been paid which I sincerely doubt.

I wasn't going to do this, but I now feel I have no other option. The last mobile phone number I had for John was 0777 404 2749.

Get your act sorted John, refund the people you owe money to or give them their orders, you're making things harder for everyone trying to run a model shop on the net.

Yeah, I race at Stoke every so often. Been running the shop now since March 2006. My home club is Stafford though.

What a joke , he refunded 60% of the money he stole ?
Me personally i havent be refunded thats why i did a complain to my credit card and now there is a change to take MY MONEY back.
The guy is a scammer and all he tries to do is to scamm people.
I manage to take off from his site the BRCA logo and from BRCA incide his link to his shop .
The next think is to take of from his site that paypal verified .
Verified for what , steeling your money ?
I cant understand how come paypal still allowed for joker to have a account.

Cut the crap from this terrible 'shop', give the guys their money back, simple as that. I, for one, will NEVER use PayPal to buy anything over the Internet, just because of cases like this. MUCH easier to use a credit card which offers far more protection. It does seem that this clown has got his priorities wrong though, it must be nice jetting off to the other side of the world, leaving everyone wondering where their orders are, or money is!

What a D**KHEAD.

PS: I still wonder if the 'main man', or his 'other half' will EVER COME BACK ON HERE to explain the situation for themselves.......

Default Stafford RCMCC

I've been asked to make a retraction on a post I made earlier by the Stafford RC club. John Fitzpatrick is no longer hosting the website for the club after they found links to porn sites on it, therefore, their website has been down, under reconstruction since December 2008.

Hello!

I have done everything that i could about Fitzpatrick models, but as it seems it has no effect on him.
These are my actions taken:

1. I have notified staffordshire police department in a really long e-mail about my case with John and got no answer? (how is that possible?)
2. I have notified both Schumacher and Speedpassion headquarters about my case with John and got the only answer they will investigate.
3. I have put the warning about him on schumacher web forum
4. I have put a warnings about him on all Slovenian carmodels forums

What else can i do?
I dont know.
All i do know i will never order from GB again!
My friends and my 27 GBP is lost, and anyway i have spent too much time dealing with John.

regards,

Borut

Borut, please don't be put off by people like John. I had a similar experience with someone in Hong Kong a few years ago. I ordered an f201 bodyshell for my tamiya f1 and it never arrived as "you choose surface mail" from an ebay seller calling himself bigjohnocean - no longer on ebay under that name.

I still buy from hong kong occaisonally, the only thing putting me off is the time it might take and postage, but both are normally reasonalbe.

Please don't let one idiot bad apple, spoil things for everyone else.

+1 there are a lot of very reputable shops in the UK i use a fair few of them as i live outside england and cant always get what i need, for my Rally X the shop i use are a good bunch when i visit the boss makes me and the mrs a cuppa while we shop hows that for treatment, as for other shops im sure that if you ask the question someone will pm you some serious shops (not sure on whether you are allowed to post links to shops on here !!!)

Hi guys!

Maybe i could give UK shops another chance, but not without your help.

So what i need is (guess what) :

1.Speed passion brushless motor
2.Trak power 4900 mAH LI-PO 2S1P , must be 25C NOT 20C!

So,for the motor i find the best price at www.racing-cars.com
For the batery the best price i could find at www.jespares.com

Now,guys please tell me if anyone knows about this two shops?
Any complains about them?
Any of them one man band shop?

regards,

Borut
