I thought only the team guys had the prototype narrow chassis. I would have ordered one long ago, had I known.

I have an exotek on the way if the post office here ever ends their strike.

OD or EJ, if it's still possible to get the prototype chassis, could you let me know?

OD, I keep buying TOP parts locally for convenience, so I still haven't managed to get those low friction belts from my order back in January. If I can order the narrow chassis, can you include the belts? If I can't get the chassis, can you just send me the belts? I know it will probably be another 6 months or I'll end up forgetting about them entirely.

Thanks

There's no part number since it's EJ's own design. Need to call or email TOP Racing USA.
thanks for explanation!

Either way, no problem. Send us an email and I'll get right on it.

Are there plans for Equalized Corner Speed (ECS) Drive Shafts for the TOP from TOP?

Anybody got a FDR for a large track asphalt track? The motor is an LRP 5.0 and the speedo is a LRP SXX V2.

I don't know anything "official" about this, but I do know what you can do right now! I would recommend you not wait for the unknown and pick up some of my Side Piece Racing Mira Outdrives -- http://www.sidepieceracing.com

8.0 FDR. Should come off the track about 192 degrees. I've run upto a 7.2 FDR but the motor went up to 220 degrees. Using a 'high' FDR + more timing is probably the answer.

Just finished converting to a narrow chassis. Can't wait to try it.

I just wanted to give a shout out to my homie Jerry Perez for his TQ (and fail) in 17.5T at the ROAR Region 2 Asphalt race this past weekend. Jerry's mechanical issues during the first lap (radio issues) caused an interesting result for the rest of the field. Also in the battle were local fast guys The Goat (4th), Arvin Nano (5th), and Rob Estep (7th) all running the Photon. Ralph Morella BQ'd the event and drove home to a convincing win, even recording a quicker fast lap then the A-main winnner (Cuffs).

In the 13.5T class I had an good battle with a few folks during the 6m after a bad first lap but battled back to nearly end up on the podium -- I think I needed another lap or two. Jerry also put his car into the show but again continued to experience radio drama, sorry buddy.

Finally, in Modified TC myself, Mark Unrath and Bill Dove all put our Photons into the A-main (ok, there was only one main but..). Thankfully I think I stumbled upon a setup during Sunday testing that might help yield a different result next time...

Unfortunately Larry couldn't make the race otherwise the top positions in many of these classes might of had another look. I guess we will just have to wait for the upcoming ROAR Asphalt Nats to see what the finals look like -- but I suspect we will see a few local Photons at the TOP.

Hey Larry, your speedo doesn't get that warm with that much boost?
