This might be a stupid question but what pully fits the upro gear diff? Do I have to hack upp the ball diff pully or is there one that fits straight on?

Tony, the axles on there now are newer and aren't pitted very badly. I will have to try the grease on the pin holders I am getting. Hopefully this will help.

Any suggestions on a good gear diff? Have leaking problems been fixed? I have been wanting to try one, but it seems people have been having problems in the past.

the most leak-free gear diff is the Yokomo BD-5 gear diff by Yokomo.

another option for chatter-free front drive line is to run XRay ECS with (shameless plug) Side Piece Racing Mira Outdrives - www.sidepieceracing.com

My c joint keeps falling off. Does that mean the dogbone or outdrive is bad?

The Spec r lcds ecs or double joints are not worth the money they break way to easy ....I have gone through 3 sets ....just spend the extra cash and get the xray ones with the side piece mira outdrives and u will be trouble free!

Has anyone ever flipped the belts on a 6 cell chassis? It looks like it could be done if the gear dif holes on the chassis were dremmeled out on the other side or just a big whole is made between the mounts. I cant justify spending 100 on a lipo chassis when a new narrow chassis is coming out in a few months. Any reason not to do this?

Unless someone is looking to trade their lipo chassis for 2 6 cell ones.

I think a lot of will disagree with you still. Changing the pin helps but then the bones bend or worse the latest design breaks more than bends.

This is the whole reason I made the Side Piece Racing Mira Outdrives -- to eliminate failure on the race track.
