I ran the car for the first time this past weekend. I also race in the State series with Marcos. I ended up finishing forth. Ran double gear diffs with a checkpoint 5.5 motor geared 7.9 with tekin rs. My biggest trouble was the car rolling too much, I was getting killed in the high speed chicanes because of it. The only part I broke during the weekend was the servo case after I hit Marcos in the rear at near full speed.
BTW, Thanks marcos for the servo adapters, I replaced them for you.
Overall, very pleased with the car for the first time out.

A few pages agothere was a discussion about front bumpers.. Well I need a new one. who carries them?
Thanks

On a side note I raced my car for the first time. I was really impressed. I'm the only one at our hobby shop that isn't running a X-Ray.

All three styles of bumpers are available at TOP Racing USA

Arrow TOP Photon

Is the hardware metric or imperial? I never thought of asking this, but doesn't this company have roots in Japan?

I was afraid of that. Is there a good recommended took kit to use with the Photon? I am sure TOP sells tools, but there has to be something cheaper. Guess I need to go and read the manual online and get all the right tool sizes. Have not purchased a TOP yet. Still evaluating the TOP versus the Xray.
