And how does it work?

My purpose with these wings, is to stiffen up the whole chassis. I've had some problems with grib-roll, on high traction tracks, and thought it might come from the soft chassis.
can use foam wing to stiff ur chassis .. very good for high grip traction

totally agree with that one. I used them at the ETS in Europe with rubber on high traction carpet and they gave me alot of cornerspeed through the entire corner rather than griproll. very effective. especially in combination with the Higher rollcenters and even the medium topdeck. worked very good for me

Exclamation Photon gear ratio

Hi peeps. I'm over here in europe and bought a photon to run in a series that allows the lrp 17.5T motor (brushless). carpet mit lrp vtec cpx tires. can anyone help me out with a gearing starting point (what pinion & spur gear??)
the race is next weekend and the car is on the way in the mail. I have some 48 pitch pinions and spur gears (zenon) from my Serpent S400. I think the car comes with 64 pitch spur but I don't have any of those pinions. i want to get the most out of that motor cause the track has a long straight, not very tight and I'm running lipos. thanks in advance for any help!

70/28 would be exactly 5.0
I think you mean the lrp-hpi-challenge?

Hey guys, Just moved over from a 008/009 to the Photon and was wondering about the camber links. Can somebody explain how a higher camber link affects the handling ?

I understand short/long and angled, but what does raising the whole link do ?

say 2.5mm (on the plate) and 2mm at the hub vs 4.5mm on the plate and 4mm at the hub.

Thanks
Chris

If you added more shims on the plate side ,it increase more low roll center...

I am looking at buy this car for foam TC super stock racing. Can anyone tell me what makes this car better than the new T3 by Xray.

It's not really possible to say one is better than the other, in my opinion. However, to make the kits equal from a contents perspective, you'll need to add your own servo saver, shock oil, diff lube, and thrust bearing lube to the Photon kit.

I guess my biggest questions is how strong are the palstic parts. Are they compairable to xray or are they as brittle as a corally steering block. Next are they easy to tune, how well do they responed to change and what is the fit and finsih like.

i just got rid of my 009 and wanted to try the photon and as far as durability the photon is a tank as well as the 009. both cars are very good handling cars, but i think they feel different, i think the xray feels a tap bit more aggressive and very stable. the photon feels very smooth and easy to drive with really good corner speed as well as the xray. both cars are very close but i would give the nod to the photon just because i think its smoother and easier to drive for me anyway, but i have to say the xray 008/009 is a beast.

havent tried a t3 but i saw or8ital's at the track today and the car looked really really good.
