Nobody said the photon is a POS. The photon is still an awesome car. You make it sound like TOP is the first company to release a new car or improve on there current one. Let me remind you since the photon was release(09) ever other Tc on the market has been threw at least 4 versions Your TC6.1 was a TC5 when the photon came out and was then a TC5ft then a TC6 and now a TC6.1. And let me tell u try even selling a TC5. You be lucky to get $50 for it.

I love my photon and so do many others in my area. If you want to sell you photon, let me tell about my experience with AE. I originally bought a TC6 and went to assemble it. To make a long story short, I couldn't get past the third page in the manual before running into problems like bad machining, missing parts and just poor craftsmanship. I called AE at least four times for parts, and on the fourth call I asked if I could get another kit. I even told them I would send mine back first, and their reply was that Associated doesn't do that. I traded that kit to a guy at my local track for the photon and have been happy ever since. Keep this in mind when you're looking at the 6.1. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just asking you to think it through.

What range of acremen adjustment does the new photon have ?
Noticing that thats the big difference inbetween the current photon and the T3 2012 and why they drive so different. Finaly found a set up on old photon to give it the least angle change between inner and outer. I realy like how a car feels entering a corner with low acremen settings

100% Happy with my Photon...

I think for stock racing the Photon will be competitive for a while yet. Besides that 'POS' roller of yours would share all suspension and drive line parts with the new car. I like that.... It means my old Photon will still be very useful in the future

I had found the same thing before I sold my car, it still had more wheel angle than the tcx I was measuring against, but it made the car much more calm off center and didn't seem to affect overall steering. If I remember right I had to use the middle setting, with wide ballstuds, if I used it all the way short I couldn't get full lock on one side.

Re: steering angle. My car had ZERO steering with the short crank on my local tight indoor tracks. First thing I did was to stretch the crank out to the long setting with the kit insert still. Steering was transformed.

Seems to me most people like to spend far too much time reading between the lines and picking fights while hiding behind a keyboard 3000 miles away.
