Will the motor mount fit on a standard Photon chassis?

Dustin, Is there anything special you need to do when using the yokomo gear diff and what fluids are you using for the rear?

after seeing all these "home made" narrow chaissis's out there... Makes me wonder, how come they(top rep, driver) dont come on this fourm and tell us more official like "we are working on narrow chaissis and it's due ____" or something along the line?

If their were any "official" anouncement were made then I apologize , but after reading quite a few pages, all I got was "rumor" at best....

All I'm trying to do is support original manufacturer.. but if we dont hear nothing then it gets little frustrating (at lease for me)

I'm not 100% sure what to use in them yet. After my experince with the spec-r, being told by other people, and then feeling one in person.. The quality of the yokomo diff is way higher.

You will need.

-.8mm of shims on each side
-tc5 blades

I posted the answer to this just a little bit ago but I guess that wasn't enough so here is the email.

Hi Travis,

Prototype narrow lipo chassis are now in testing.* We are trying to get the dimensions just right before going ahead with a production version.* We’re pretty happy with what we have at this point but there are more versions to test so no release date yet, it should be at least a few months.
