Besides buying something like this or using 4 mini scales, what methods are you using to balance your vehicle?
And they want to charge you for that?

Just lift the car by the holes in the middle of the shock tower. A couple of allen drivers or a piece of fine string will do the trick (for l/r balance at least).

Front/rear balance is a bit trickier to judge, scales do make this a lot easier.

I used to use scales all the time. Then I stopped.

Then I started winning. I haven't used scales isn the last 4-5 years and have been doing just fine without them.

I am getting excessive wear in the front cvds. The Barrel seems to move alot inside the bone. It looks like the aluminum wears way faster than the steel barrel. Does anyone use the steel cvds? I only see them available over seas though.

Yes. I replaced the front bones with steel.

LMFAO!! I remember it like it was yesterday. No scales = good! Use them in oval, not on-road.

Like Larry posted further down, we win not using scales. Scales can be very inconsistent measurement and just when you think you have it right... it can be very wrong. Larry will get that one.
