Looks to me like you have too many/too thick of shims on the left versus the right between the bulkhead and the arm mount?

This happens when you tend to hit alot of stuff or have the same Plastic roll center holders on for a long time and they are bent. If you change out your roll center hingepin holders with new ones it should fix the problem.

Wiring tip for the Tekin ESC...

Tired of soldering the wires to the posts and heating up the circuit board might damage it? Here is what I did to solve the issues and only soldering the connectors just once...

1. Tin the ESC solder posts...
2. Purchase 5 female 3.5mm diameter gold plated "Super Bullet" connector
3. Tin the insides of connector ( use a small tip )
4. Heat the post and connector and slide on, make sure the low part is facing out.
5. Solder the bottom of the connector and the post to make sure it’s a joint
6. Removed by popular demand...
7. Solder the wire to the top of the connector and you are done...

Putting shrink wrap over the post is not good. The posts are heat sinks.

The car is brand new and never been on the track yet!! Checked screws, bulk head, chassis, tweak, everything!! I am getting reports that the hinge pin holders might have a size difference. I am trying to use some xray hinge pins holders just to check, if that does not work i will be sending to tops to see if they can help. I did measure the hinge pin holders and there seems to be some difference. I am trying to see if the xray hinge pins would work just to test.

even if the blocks were messed up, it wouldn't be THAT much. Are both hubs solid with no play?

What setup tools do you use? my hudy stuff requires me to remove the body posts to get an accurate toe reading in the rear, make sure the gauge isn't hitting them.

Well I had my first ever trophy race this past Sunday. Despite having some traction issues that I never fully resolved, I finished 3rd in the B main. For my first real race in a class that is generally considered way too fast for a beginner (13.5, open esc), I'm pretty happy with that.

The only other Photon at our track TQ'd and won the A main against some tough competition. He recently switched to the Photon from a TRF416X. Man, his car was on rails. Nicely done Martin!

Anyway, I just felt like sharing.

Cheers

Yeah, I was surprised too when I walked over to his table and saw the red ano instead of blue. I thought I was the only one with a Photon. He said he switched about a month ago.

I'm also a bit surprised you know exactly who I was referring to OVA

That's a hugh difference between left and right. Someone already asked, but what gauge are you using? Have you tried flipping the gauge around and rechecked?

Another crude method to check toe is to stand the car up perpendicular to a flat surface and use a standard camber gauge. Do these things and let us know your results.
