Can someone confirm what the "Int'l Ltd. Edition Touring Car Kit" has in the box?.

I'm quite confused now, as I do believe there is two of the 'new' versions, Stock and Ltd kit, there appears to be a price difference, but really from what I can find out the 'only' spec difference is the Ltd has the LiPo chassis plate, but 'only' that plate, so I can't figure out why there would be a price difference?.

So if anyone can confirm, does the Ltd get the U mount around motor, alloy LiPo mounts or even a nice velcro LiPo strap?, if a Ltd only has the chassis plate, and nothing else, why would it be more $, yet you can buy the whole LiPo chassis kits for what seems not much more than if then had to buy the 'rest' of the LiPo upgrades to finish the Ltd kit.

Still keen to get one of these cars, just with TOP not having any recent kit pics or details on their sites, it's confusing what you do or do not get right now.

I'm no Photon expert but, I just got my limited kit: 2 chassis (lipo and 6 cell), has the motor "U" thing, steel and plastic spool drive cups, standard battery mount. I ordered it from RC Market so, no spare plastics parts.

If i can beat XRayT3 owners with a relic Tc3, you can do it with a Photon! Just wrench and wheel son!

Ordering from RC Market, did you have to pay a shipping tariff or anything like that? I see he has some Photon's coming in stock soon...

I believe if you order the ltd ed from the US, you get front/rear arms, uprights, hubs for free, on top of the lipo chassis. Amain however are out of stock. Its hard waiting for a car you want to buy. Do I, dont I......

I ordered a load of spare parts along with the kit so, the total was about $650, shipping and duty was about $40 of that. It'd probably be less for just a kit.

I was going to order from A-main, but no guarantee when the kits would arrive. What are the spare plastics worth?? Maybe $20.

That's a smokin fast TC3!

I did well last season with my T3. It's just that the Xray price doesn't seem to reflect the quality anymore. Looks to me like the TOP car is the opposite.

Well I guess if it's coming with an 'extra' chassis, that explains a lot, given that, I'm tempted to buy the Ltd, with the alloy Lipo extra bits at the same time (plus the neat looking Velcro strap), then I'd have the whole latest setup.

If I'm spending wads of cash going electric, I may as well be sure it's the latest and greatest bits, have to say I better love the electric, or I will have blown a whole heap of cash.

Electric in my opinion is at an all time great. Brushless tech has made leaps and bounds over anything brushed ever wished it could be.

My Tc3 is decent for what it is. Its limitations are very evident now though. It needs to be wheeled at 110% all the time do well with it.

I think the general population has always griped at the cost of the XRay line... but there wasnt really anything comprable to it so people just paid it. My how times change...
