No we're not. He's using the old car and the chassis has more flex. I'm playing around with different setup changes to see how the car reacts. Tire prep was a problem for me for the first half of the day. I got that figured out now. Playing with arm angles.

Is your track that dirty that you need them? remember each pinion is much bigger jump than 64p, every out here runs 64p outdoors.

No. Tracks I race at are very clean. Most guys run 64p here as well. Just something I want to do for no real reason.

The Photon does look good, both on the bench and the track. If only it was shaft driven.

Locally, i wouldnt call the Photon a dominant force, i feel the wins can be had by any driver in any car. Regardless, it a tough chassis to beat in the right hands, and you can tell the wrenchtime has been put into it.

Im just glad to be running against something else besides XRAY and Corally sleds.

Has anyone bought and run the new lipo chassis. I'm looking for which one will be the best carpet chassis, Stiff or Super Stiff. If you've run either of these or now which would be the best for medium to high traction carpet please comment.

I ran the stiff lipo chassis with EJ's set up and it was very good, it was a medium traction carpet track.

Using Photon Springs will make you faster...
You may want to use Photon stearing knuckles they don't break like the HB

The kit comes with the stiff chassis. I'm going to pick up the standard (now called moderate) chassis to try out.

If anyone is looking for some backup Photon parts, I am selling the following package.

FS: TOP Racing Photon Parts

Let me know.. and I can make a deal. I just need to clean out my RC area since I am moving.

Does anyone know if one of these pre-assembled ceramic thrust bearings can be used in the photon diff instead of the washers and steel balls?

Thanks
