is the photon a reliable car? does it need any aftermarket parts?
The car is great out of the box. The only weak point that I would replace it the steering bellcrank. I broke it enough times to finally get an aluminum one. The only other thing that I have broken is the the rear hub carriers. And those are now aluminum too. I did add the ceramic bearing and diff balls. But those are probably less necessary than the other things that I mentioned.

Just about every Xray owner I know is now on the TOP photon and loving it.

Is the aluminum steering bellcrank a TOP part or an aftermarket one? I don't see it on RC Market or A Main sites.

Mark, it's currently being tested. How did the builds go?

Would like to test that as well. What materials did you guys settle on?

I love the cars. It took your team of fairtrace and sheffler and other TOP guys to convince me -but I am glad to have made the switch.

Always had good power but now I have the right car to get it to the ground. Good luck to you and guys this weekend. Represent in Invite!

The one I got is made by king headz and sold on Amain for 19.99. I will see if I can find the part number. Or you can wait for the one coming from TOP. Not sure if it will be different from this one or not.

AmainPart

King Headz site

Anyone??
