EJ dont forget the 3rd place podium for the only PHOTON in 17.5 rubber...

Vince, it was nice to bounce around setups and the the cars just got better and easier to drive as traction was getting higher!! Trying different things and watching each other's run really helps alot!!!

Thanks Josh for the help also!!

Give Hess a break.

Vince was racing one our XRAYs for a few months but was always searching for more steering on the carpet. When he did get it (without traction rolling), he was lightning fast. We all could see his potential in electric racing.

It was Hess who first gave Vince a test ride on his Photon under his "Drive and Buy" program. The next week, Vince gave us our XRAY back and was pitting with Hess. That was about 6 weeks ago. This championship is the result.

Again, big congratulation to Vince Jackson.

BTW
Vincent Jackson also set the track record with a 10.45 sec. lap with a 13.5 motor. Faster than MOD which was 10.54. Stock Rubber (17.5) was 11.00 seconds.

TeamB&B - Actually, Mod did run 10.4's (both Kevin and I) and I ran 10.3's in practice before the main... The difference was, I didn't have to do it to win so I didn't push the car...lol.. Really, with the new speedo's 13.5 is just as fast as mod - It just lacks a little bottom end that Mod has which on this track was a lot easier to drive with the bumps. So when are you getting a TOP??

From the man on the mic...lol... Where's the pic of the 10.34 now Mr. Goetz?? I had my chops busted all weekend that 13.5 was just as fast as Mod. Fast lap was close but I had em covered on the 5 minute run.

By the way, I think it just shows how fast we were in TC this weekend - I ran 9.35 in 1/12 and 10.34 in TC. In Cleveland it was my 8.89 in 1/12 vs Lemieux's 10.29 in TC. At the Novak it was my 9.79 in 1/12 vs Lemeiux's 10.92 in TC. All year it's been about 1.2+ seconds between the classes and here it was closer.

True.... lol... An argument I will never win. I guess I'll just have to "man up" and race 13.5 next time...lol..

By the way..... How was it to drive a Photon around the track?? :-) I see a TOP in your future....

Hi, congrats to the TOP-Team! Great Job
Josh: could you post your setup, too?
We have our german nationals next week. I´m running 13.5 (the new Graupner one) and it´s already faster than mod on straight and nearly as fast as mod out of the corners^^ How is the grip on us tracks compared to european tracks? I saw that vince used the foam chassis, but if I use this, I´ve got the feeling that I lack steering...Which did you use? usually I use the rubber kit parts.
Is there so much more grip in the us?
Thanks
