Remember there is now a thread for the race over in the Racing Forum

Just got my spare parts in and some TOP glue.
That glue is the best from what I ever had. Never glued my tires so easy and so fast dry.

Just finished setting a setup on my car and changing shock oil.
Now I must go to charges the lipo's and set a setup on an other car.

I love this car. Every week I get to come on here after the race and talk about how good it is. Today, I TQ'ed 17.5 by 8 seconds. TQ'ed MOD by 10 seconds. We now have 3 drivers who have run 37 laps in 17.5. Today, I ran 38. Won both the 17.5 and mod A-main by almost a lap and had 3 offers to buy my car. One more week of carpet and it'll be time to try out the blacktop for a few months. Can't wait.

Installed the new aluminum steering blocks yesterday. Very nice pieces. The holes are a little different, so make sure you check your toe after changing them.

It's open, but the choice motor is 13.5 with Tekin and 10.5 with anything else.

I didnt know that T.O.P. stood for Tokyohobbies Optional Parts. Till I got the box

I drove yesterday with the Photon.
Just a fast setup on it but it wasn't a good setup. under steer in the fast corners.
Running the Solaris tires.
Car was in good balance and the tires field good. didn't break in the rear.
I set now an other setup on it get more steer.
I know now that I must use more a setup like for Sorex 32 tires.
The VTEC have less grip in the rear.

Maybe tomorrow some racing els Wednesday.
Tires had very fast grip. they were good very fast. Normally 1 run of 5 mints to get my tires good.

The Tekin had a power. I didn't really work on that setup and started to work on the car.

A club member were i helped with the setup went fast.
Running a Tekin RS Pro with a Speedpassion V3 17,5T.
He was only saying wow this car runs great.
He had before a Xray T1 FK05.

Had a blast running 17.5 at SpeedWorld yesterday running EJ's 2009 Reedy setup. The cars were dialed. Definitely, want to thank EJ for the help with the Photon. The tips and advice worked out perfectly. We really appreciated how you walked around the pits and helped out all the guys that were new to the T.O.P. car, like myself and six others. That really goes a long way with me.

17.5 A-Main
NEL 18 6:00.583 19.813 (Photon)
Henry Turner 18 6:07.307 19.581 (Photon)
Tom Meyers 17 6:03.158 20.926 (Photon)
Villamor Z. 17 6:06.216 21.090
Brando C. 17 6:13.820 21.396 (Photon)

Hey that's a really neat paint job! I like it, its different.

Now you need to wear a Karate Kid bandanna when you race and you'll be all set!
