Thanks Mike. It actually helped clarify as I'm sure others may have not been aware.

I'll post my most recent asphalt setup tonight. It's not too different then my Reedy setup, except 324 spring in the front instead of 306. Also I now use the 1.2 pistons opposed to 1.0.

Thanks,

EJ

If you have any other non productive items towards, PM or EMail me. I dont wanna cause forum drama.

We (TOP USA) were not clear as to what we intended the USA Spec Kit to accomplish for us and our dealers. Mike had legitimate concerns and when the details were explained he was nice enough to say he had changed his mind. Let's just leave it there, please

Ive grown up around RC Cars, and when I finally got a Hobby Shop in my small little oregon town, I quickly became friends with the owners of the shop. The owner of the shop is one of the nicest guys ever. Ive donated uncountable hours of unpaid time just to keep the door open. It's a 2nd home to me, Ive worked at other shops, but always come home to Mild To Wild.

Here's a pic of the USA Spec Kit, note the sticker on the left corner of the box sleeve. The Plastic Suspension Parts Set that will be included in every kit is shown in front of the box.

If you purchased a non-USA Spec Photon kit from a dealer in the US or Canada on or after February 1, 2010 you can get a free upgrade to the USA Spec by providing dated proof of purchase to us at TOP Racing USA There will be a shipping charge for this which for most will be $4.85 US.

I was wondering if the new US Spec kits will cost more or will the price be the same?

Price of the kits to the dealers and to end users will remain the same. Just now it comes with the extra suspension items. It's a good deal!

Having the extra parts is great but with the car so damn durable I have not used hardly any spare parts.... And I do hit any and everything on the track, in the pits... The Tech table once....

I've broken:
1 steering thingy before I put on a servo saver
1 steering block
1 front hinge pin
1 suspention block ( see hinge pin)
1 top deck ( which may have been broken when some one T-boned me when I put my car down on the track )

And a couple of bent screws...

This car is sweet to run.....

1 bellcrank (now run a servo saver)
1 steering block (didn't know it was broken until after the heat)
1 rear hinge pin (didn't know it was broken until setup change)
1 stripped screw

Total cost to repair.... under $20
Not needing to make repairs..... Priceless

No way you lost a race. You must of had a bad dream. Yeah, that was what it was. I will take the car off your hands if you are looking for a better car.
