Hi.

I just got my Photon Rubber asphalt pro edition, and with the instruktion manual there was a amendment and buildind tips flyer, one of the amendment whas that the universal bones are changed to alloy both in 44.5 mm, but in the package there are 4 alloy bones, but in 2 different lenght.

Anyboby now what to do??

I would guess that the shorter ones go at the back as it's the length of the diff screw that was causing problems if the diff washers are like this ()()()

I must say that I haven't had any problems with my standard ones.

I finished 4th today.
qualification 1 and 2 I was 3th and the 3th qualification broke a steering block.

So 4th on the grid. First time I was battling for 3th place.
First and last final 4th.
2th final I was 7th. My front belt run off.

4th place today and I was a lot faster than place 5.
Made a mistake in the first run and I was last. In a few laps I was back 4th and I was closing in at the nr 3.
I did this in all 3 finals. 2th final I was running 3th for a few laps.
The car was stable and even with old tires it run great.
Never bin as fast as today on old tires.

Thursday I will have my own Photon.

They were all watching how the car went.
A lot of good comments on the car and how it goos.

Did you kit some with only alloy dog bones or were steel ones included? Use the 44.5mm dogbones in the rear.

EJ or Josh,

I saw some new alloy parts in Vegas. Is there an ETA on those for public consumption?

Also, are there any plans for 6 deg. front block?

thanks

I haven't startet buliding the car yet, but in bag G there was only alloy bones.

Is there any issues with the spur gear? I have heart that they don't fit very well on the pulley.

jepp, don't try to force the pulleys into the spur. Look closely to figure out which holes aren't fitting, and use a body reamer to slightly enlarge them until the pulleys fit. If you force the pulleys in, it deforms the plastic and then they really don't fit.

hey top guys
at the last page off the instruktion manual right below the page
they ar talking about the screws for the suspention mounts.

IMPORTANT; stainless steel and titanium screws cannot be
used for the installation of suspention mounts of photon. use
original screws for these locations.

wat is the reason off this.
maiby its discused already buth coldnt find anything.
greetings marcel
